My work desk has been occupied by about 30 HO scale containers I’ve been weathering over the last few weeks. I started by painting the door latches with acrylics, then doing various enamel filters and acrylic washes, followed by acrylic chipping, enamel streaking, watercolor scratching, enamel panel liners and finally an acrylic flat coat.
I put a lot of work into these things, but it was enjoyable and really easy to do it assembly lines style. The big hold up was waiting for various coats to dry.
The cans will go on the layout as view blocks. They have no operational purpose.
